A Journey of Passion and Craftsmanship

Welcome to my world of automotive restoration and craftsmanship.

I'm Kip McIntyre, a dedicated classic car enthusiast and skilled artisan based in Brisbane, Australia. With over 15 years of experience working on the most prestigious marques, I have forged a reputation as a trusted name in the world of classic car restoration.

From a young age, I was captivated by the timeless allure and intricate beauty of classic cars. This fascination evolved into a lifelong passion and a career devoted to breathing new life into these automotive legends. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working on some of the most iconic and revered automobiles in existence.

In 2016, I was honored to be awarded a Churchill Fellowship, a milestone that further propelled my commitment to excellence in classic car restoration. The fellowship provided me with the remarkable opportunity to travel extensively across the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, and Germany. Immersed in the presence of master craftsmen and renowned workshops, I absorbed their expertise, embraced cutting-edge techniques, and expanded my knowledge of the art of restoration.

Returning to Australia, I embarked on a mission to revolutionize classic car bodywork. As the first person to import a Pettingell power hammer into the country, I introduced a powerful tool that has transformed the way classic car bodies are handcrafted. With this exceptional technology at our disposal, my team and I meticulously shape and form metal, producing custom-made classic car bodies that reflect the utmost precision and artistry.

Beyond my dedication to craftsmanship, I am passionate about sharing my expertise and knowledge with fellow enthusiasts. Currently, I am privileged to serve on the Queensland selection committee for the Churchill Trust. This role allows me to contribute to the selection of future fellows and support the development of groundbreaking projects and research across various fields.
